Everyone’s got a story. Here’s mine.
I got my feet wet writing for big names like T-Mobile, AT&T, Safeway, and Nordstrom. I loved developing creative and strategic ideas and bringing them to life in TV spots, radio commercials and print campaigns.
What I loved even more was the idea that I could focus on a niche I was passionate about. Sure, we all need cell phone service. And groceries. And designer clothes (okay, maybe not that last one). But after paying my dues working at advertising agencies for 8 years, I decided to go out on my own — going after clients I felt a deeper connection to.
For the past 14 years, I’ve honed my skills as a freelance writer and independent business owner, building relationships with clients in the health, wellness and travel industries, upholding an exceptional reputation for meeting deadlines, and being an all-around-enjoyable-to-work-with storyteller who actually walks the talk.
In addition to being a writer, I’m also a Functional Nutritionist, long-distance runner (recently completing my 26th half marathon), and world traveler having been to Iceland, Croatia, and the ABC Islands — which means I’m dedicated to living a healthy lifestyle every day, not just when I’m writing about it.
